Hint: you have to actually read this if you want to join. No skimming!
Woop clan's rules differ from most other clans. You will need to have a stable internet connection and be able to use IRC. Before being accepted, you'll need to play games against a woop clan player. In gaming we are elitists (see about woop).
We don't accept idlers - many people tend to come in, cry about how much they want to be in the clan and then never come back again. Woop means commitment. If you are planning to be away for longer periods of time then please notify Drakas. It is unacceptable to just be gone.
We'd appreciate if you wrote up your own profile for the players page. A photo, some statistics and a few paragraphs will be enough.
We are not discriminating against you if you are not put on the players page. As said two paragraphs earlier - we need to verify whether you're a type of a person who can become a woopie. A similar thing with "Spirit of woopTM" - we won't put you on the list unless you are in the top 25 of our IRC statistics.
If you didn't manage to qualify and were not accepted that does not mean that you are the worst player or that we don't like you - it's just that the woop clan is an elitist-gamer group. Don't just run away when we say no! We can help you improve and eventually let you become one like us!
As said about crying, we require you to provide good sportsmanship and to be honest while gaming. That means: "GG" after each game, not running away like a baby when you lost, not being afraid to show a screenshot where you lost. No cheating either!
Excuses are not accepted either! Don't reason for why you're not playing as good as your enemy, why you can't play, that you're tired and so on.... Either play or don't!
Also, one of the most important things that make woop clan stand out of the crowd is the fact that we don't spend most of our clantime playing! We are a community of people who talk about... open source (Rhubarb), anime (Tachyon), mathematics (Deimos), programming (dazza)!
